We are really enjoying the guests who stay with us. We learn about their lives, work, family and share funny and interesting stories. I also get to create fun breakfasts! When my children were growing up we were always having brunches and parties. I loved cooking for a group and then sitting back and listening to everyone enjoying each other's company. Our lives are so busy in today's world. We don't seem to take the time to relax, chat, play and laugh. I am hoping to create a place for people to find these life affirming moments in a comfortable laid back atmosphere. Below are comments from the wonderful people we have met.
My Husband and I stayed on Vancouver Island at this lovely Bed and Breakfast in North Saanich for 3 nights to complete our month long holiday in Canada. It was so lovely to be welcomed and treated to a home cooked breakfast each morning. Such a comforting change to staying in hotels as we had been doing for the remainder of our holiday. We spent time each morning chatting and getting to know our hosts. The location was excellent as it was close to the Airport and BC Ferries and an easy drive to Sidney and Victoria. I highly recommend this B & B.

Karey was a very welcoming and warm-hearted host. Her house is located in a very quiet, lush and beautiful area and the rooms we stayed were very clean, spacious to accommodate 4 people and had everything what we needed. We all loved staying at her place, especially my mom!!
Karey was very attentive and sweet enough to check our needs during our stay.
We enjoyed lovely breakfast in a sun room that Karey prepared for us!
Karey's house is a great place to stay and convenient to get around when you visit Victoria.
We highly recommend her place to stay and will definitely stay there again!

Our little getaway could not have been any more pleasant. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel completely welcome and relaxed during our entire stay. The home and celiac friendly breakfasts were wonderful, and the lovely walks to the beaches were just what the doctor ordered. We would both stay again and recommend others as well!!
This is a very beautiful and comfortable place just like the websit information said. Around the house has great views, especially near the beach, go there for walking before thebreakfast is a good choice. Karey's breakfast is very good, We were here for three day, Karey prepared 3 kinds breakfast for us. We live feel very comfortable, just like at home. The nearby SIDENY is an interesting place.If I have chance go Victoria next time, I would choose here again.
Our second trip to Victoria and we are so glad that we chose Karey's place. It was within 30 minutes drive to Victoria so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the countryside. Karey was so nice and friendly and the place was perfect for us. The breakfast was awesome. A lovely comfortable stay! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The hosts were friendly, respectful, and welcoming. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, wonderfully quiet and in a perfect location. I will definitely be back again!
Karey's place in Saanich near the Institute of Ocean Sciences in Pat Bay turned out to be perfect for me. It was within walking distance of the institute where I was taking a course. The room was generous in size and comfortable and had a fridge and microwave and everything else I needed. Most of all it was quiet and I felt comfortable being there. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone !
This Bed and Breakfast was one of the best we have ever stayed at. The host and hostess went out of their way to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I would definetely stay there again. The accomodations were comfortable and the breakfasts were fabulous.

What an awesome place, the place was run professionally, but still felt like home. It was so quiet and peaceful, I wasn't sure I could fall asleep for the lack of traffic zipping past. (L.O.L) The bed is an Ample Queen size, extremely comfortable. I appreciated having an in room coffee maker and fridge. The cozy lounging area (also has a TV.) was a really nice touch. The work desk is Ideal for someone who might be staying on a course, that's new from the first time we stayed. The artwork and the little touches are fresh and exciting. I can see that they really think about the guest's experience, rather than just a place to sleep for the night. My husband and I are return guests to Colesbay B&B, and will be staying again. Karen and Howard, our hosts, were very helpful and aware of everything in the area. They were able to accommodate my requests for a vegan breakfast. I absolutely prefer the B&B experience to the hotel experiences I've had in my travels.

This place has all the charm of a country home, while still having the modern amenities that today's guests are looking for. We enjoyed our stay, and look forward to coming again.
